At
a few critical times in my life he was of
seminal importance to me in achieving
understanding of what was taking
place. He was also a great life
coach. There are lessons, few in
number but critical and life changing,
which I have from him which I have
studiously applied and which have made my
existence fundamentally better... |

For the last 8 years or so, even though he was ill and very weak, he continued in his work, with the strong belief that that was why Hashem had allowed him to go on. |

....He was also a vivid scholar. I have precious nuggets of Torah insight from him, some of which I have said over to others numerous times. He was also nice. He was also fun, engaging, and exciting. He was also a master of hachnosos orchim. |

Rabbi Lifshitz was my guiding
light, guiding me in the direction I
wanted to go. Never telling me what to
do. I could talk to him about
everything. He was always there for
me...accessible...we
laughed a lot together. He taught me so
much about myself, while teaching me
Torah. I think of him every day, of his
warm smile and his profound insights. May
his memory always be for a blessing. |

His insight
into human beings, into their spiritual
journey - I have never seen it equalled.
Nothing even comes
close, whether in clarity, accuracy,
profundity or scope. |

He molded my
thought process. There is no aspect
of any of my successes that does not
originate in his teachings. |
